A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

I have practiced yoga for over 10 years and completed my BWYQ Level 4 Diploma in Teaching Yoga in October 2023.

I was initially drawn to yoga for the physical side, starting at a class at a leisure centre with my Mum. I found yoga to be the best all round, full body exercise I had done. It improved my strength, flexibility, mobility and balance, plus I felt great after every class. I wanted to explore more and realised that the physical is only one small part of what yoga has to offer. I began to practice more breathwork, meditation and guided relaxations and felt my mind and wellbeing being nurtured as well as my body.

Yoga has helped me connect my mind and body, and has given me many tools to cope with life's ups and downs. Since starting my journey I feel I am a healthier, happier, more receptive and resilient person.

I have truly experienced many benefits from practicing yoga and want to pass these on to all of my students. I use many of the practices I have learnt in my day to day life and I hope in time my students do the same.

I firmly believe yoga is for everyone. Everything I teach can be adapted to any students needs and I encourage anyone to come and give it a go. I hope to encourage all my students to see yoga as a personal journey without comparing themselves to others or worrying about where they 'should be'. I aim to create classes with a relaxed atmosphere where students can learn, inquire and practice with joy.
